Description
The 'Chantilly' dress is a great option for a vintage style wedding. It has a full skirt in silk duchesse satin, with lace detailing around the corset area, and a narrow sash around the waist finishes the look and is extremely flattering if you want to show off a tiny waist! The cut of the bodice and the corsetry is fabulous as you would expect from a Suzanne Neville gown, and the subtle ruching on the bust and gentle sweetheart neckline is also very effective. This dress is lace up at the back rather than buttons, which means a more flexible fit. It comes with a lace shrug with capped sleeves, which I thought finished the dress off superbly and is a great option for those who wish to cover their arms like I did for the Church, or for those who simply do not wish to do strapless and of course it can be taken off for the evening, to provide a completely different look. My gown was made to measure. I am 5ft 2" and wore 3 inch heels on the day. I'm normally a 10-12 in dress size. I can provide complete dress measurements if needed as there are lots for a made to measure dress but the main ones are: Bust - 36" (bra size 36B) Under bust - 29" Waist to floor - 41" The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in near perfect condition.
