Did you get married despite a disaster?

I'm writing a feature for a national newspaper about women who spent months
planning their weddings only for something disastrous to happen to nearly
prevent it going ahead.

Perhaps the bride or groom fell ill, maybe there was a death in the family,
or perhaps extreme weather almost put the wedding off.
As long as you still went through with the wedding as planned, we'd love to
hear your stories.

The feature will involve an interview over the phone, pictures of the pair
of you now and on your wedding day and, although I know it won't be your
prime motivation for taking part, we'd also pay you a fee to thank you for
your time for participating.
