"Always the Bridesmaid, never the Bride"..

Yes, we know she's your best friend or your sister or your cousin or.....something.
And we know that you love her dearly.
And we realise that being chosen by her as one of the people she wants to be with her on her biggest day is an honour and a compliment and a testimony to how she feels about her relationship with you.

But the dress....Let's talk about the dress.

Many Brides will keep their wedding dress boxed or hanging in a closet because they can't bear to part with it. In fact, rumour has it that when Hubby's away and the doors are locked and the curtains drawn, some have even been known to put it on again, close their eyes and relive the day.

Now, here's the question....Has any Bridesmaid in the history of Humanity ever done the same?

Bridemaids dresses tend to fall into 2 categories. First, is the dress that you would never wish to see again, far less actually wear again. Second, is the dress that you didn't mind wearing on the day -may actually have enjoyed it - but that you wouldn't actually wear again.

Yes, got it in one - it's that they'll never be worn again and you'll want to sell them if at all possible. After all what's the likelihood that your other best friend/sister/cousin/..something will ask you to be a bridesmaid in the same dress as you've owrn at someone else's wedding?

The problem is that it's as expensive to advertise a Bridesmaid's Dress as it is to advertise a Wedding Dress - even though the value is much less.

That's where we come in.
